Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul Roman Nedilskyi and the accompanying delegation visited Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Organized in cooperation with SCCI Overseas Business Development Commission and Production Trade Board (ÜTİK) and hosted by SCCI Vice Chairs of the Board Cem Gün and Gökhan Tiryaki, the visit was attended by SCCI Overseas Business Development Commission Vice Chairman and ÜTİK Chairman Özkan Pınar, Commission and Board Members and SCCI Secretary General Şevket Kırıcı.

The scope of the meeting included economic cooperation, investment opportunities and logistics connections between Ukraine and Turkey.

Speaking at the meeting, Consul General Roman Nedilskyi emphasized the priority of realizing investment plans before the end of the ongoing war in Ukraine. He pointed out that the voyages between Karasu Port and Ukraine's Chornomorsk Port before the war could strengthen the logistics cooperation between the two countries.

Nedilskyi expressed that Ukraine harbors considerable opportunities for Turkish investors. He also made evaluations on the current economic and social dynamics in the country. In the continuation of the meeting, it was shared that different sector-based tax rates and various incentives are offered to Turkish companies that will invest in Ukraine. Consul General Nedilskyi stated that these opportunities, which provide major advantages for investors, should be considered.

The visit concluded with positive messages aimed at enhancing the friendship and economic cooperation between the two countries.
