Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board A. Akgün Altuğ attended the consultation meeting held by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) for the Marmara Region Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.
At the meeting hosted by the World Chambers Federation and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the impacts of trade wars in the global economy on Turkey's economy, economic problems in provinces and districts, expectations of the business world and sectoral demands were discussed.
SCCI Chairman of the Board A. Akgün Altuğ assessed the meeting; "We held a productive and pleasant meeting hosted by the World Chambers Federation and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
We exchanged ideas by focusing on our Marmara region, which is Turkey's most producing, most consuming, highest- exporting and importing region. As chamber presidents, we will carry on working for the development, benefit and progress of our country and our business world. May our unity in this sense be perpetual."
