Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO) has signed a cooperation protocol with the MEXT Technology Center for conducting “Digital Maturity Assessment”.
The protocol for the internationally recognized SIRI (Smart Industry Readiness Index) evaluations, which will reveal the digitalization potential of Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry members on the digital transformation journey, will be funded by the Istanbul Development Agency over 90%.
Digital Roadmap for Sakarya Business World
With the SIRI evaluation report, SCCI Member SMEs will be able to apply to the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) Digital Transformation Support Program and MSEs (Medium-Sized Enterprises) will be able to apply to the Digital Transformation Support Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. There will also be significant support for digital transformation projects included in the roadmap.
The application requirements for the program as follows; being a producer MSE or SME and having production facilities in the Marmara Region.
Speaking at the protocol ceremony, Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO) Chairman of the Board A. Akgün Altuğ stated: “While the rotational speed of our world is constant, developments are happening much faster. Production models are changing at a dizzying pace, terms like industry 5.0 and dark factories are emerging, and trade wars and competition are escalating. That’s why it is essential for our businesses to embrace digitalization and adapt to the times.
